London swings like a Pendulum do

Arrived back in London after another challenging drive down the M1. It's difficult to maintain 70mph within a fast moving traffic jam.

We are well rested and ready for the next phase of this holiday.

On to Italy tomorrow. Have checked out the Eurostar at St Pancras and we are prepared.

Ran into Guy of Gisbourne (of Robin Hood fame) doing some acting for another British series, at the station. He didn't recognise us. That's two so far given we saw James Durie at Hampton Court. Waiting on the third...

Stay safe. We are.

Lv Julie and Frank.

Hi Julie and Frank,
Read through your travel diary, lucky there's a drinks bar on the Eurostar, hate you to run dry in transit. We have been sending messages but not sure that they got through. All well here, everyone still insane, miss you and everyone is looking forward to a stick of rock!!! The smart tart is looking really well, so good on you, (I've put that in just incase you have forgotten your Australian).
Have a grand day,
Ciao Bellas'

Hi Julie and Frank! Rachael is at our place checking out your blog so I had a look too. Looks like you're having fun and that's a good thing. In your photos you look like a couple of kids going youth hostelling (from a distance!) I'll look forward to hearing about Italy. Take care,
Anne

Hi Julie and Frank,
We had the same experience as you with the UK motorways - fast. We arrived at Pumpkin Cottage about 6.00pm, it was a long drive but not too bad. The cottage is delightful - something out of a childrens fairytale - one room with a loft and lots of nick nacks. We also have our own garden, the owner is a gardener.
This region is beautiful. The weather has been kind with only one day of rain so we caught the bus that day and visited Edinborough.
We miss your company and we hope that you're having a great time.
Hope you have your Italian dictionary with you so you can understand when they are ripping you off!!!
